Two Document Analysis Methods
The 5W, the 5W+H, and the historical phrase are all document analysis methods that can be used to analyze documents in the document file.
The 5W and the 5W+H
The concept sheet Document Analysis: The 5W and the 5W+H explains each of the components of the 5W and 5W+H and provides examples of how they can be used to analyze a document.
The Historical Phrase
The concept sheet Document Analysis: The Historical Phrase explains how to find the speaker, intention, subject, time, and space of the document. These elements are then summarized in a single sentence.
How to Carry Out Intellectual Operations
As the first section of the exam includes questions based on intellectual operations, knowing how to carry out each operation is essential. The concept sheet Intellectual Operations presents the seven intellectual operations.
