Geometry is the branch of mathematics that studies the relationships between different objects, such as points, lines, curves, surfaces (figures), and volumes (solids) in a plane or in a given space.
Usually, a system of measurements is used to determine the dimensions of an object in a plane or in a space.
These objects are analysed in a two-dimensional plane or in three-dimensional spaces, allowing different shapes to be observed.
Geometry also makes it possible to determine relationships and formulas specific to certain figures.
Geometry also encompasses congruence, similarity, and equivalence between objects as well as the transformations that allow some of these properties to be preserved.
